A & K Joiners can manufacture a wide variety of items including Traditional and Modern Solid Frame Sliding Sash Windows, Traditional Casement Windows, Modern Stormproof Section Windows, Doors including Sliding Folding Doors (Bi-Fold Doors), Orangeries and Lantern Roof Lights, Staircases, Kitchens and individual items of Furniture, all made to meet your personal requirements. Additionally we offer a design service, paint spraying, a full fitting service and repairs.
This website covers the main items that we manufacture but as a truly bespoke service provider we cannot show the full breadth of options available, as they are virtually without limit. Each project we undertake starts with a totally blank canvass. This means that we can interpret your requirements and provide you with exactly the product that you require, constrained only by your budget.
Our joinery workshop is based in a rural business park in Tolleshunt Major near Maldon in Essex, but our area of operation includes London and East Anglia. If you are further afield we are happy to manufacture items for you on a ‘supply only’ basis. Please call or E-mail if you would like us to arrange a visit and/or provide a quotation. We are members of the British Woodworking Federation which means that we are fully regulated, giving you peace of mind.If you are undertaking work on a Listed Building we have extensive experience of working on Listed Properties and working closely with designers and local authorities to meet their requirements in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our historical buildings.
No one particularly enjoys having workmen in their house but we would like to assure you that all our work is carried out either by ourselves or by our own honest, trustworthy, long established team of joiners and carpenters who are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in their trade.
We use a wide range of timber including that which has been legally verified and sourced from forests operating a legal verification system approved in accordance with the BMTRADA Forest Products Certification Scheme.
