Joinery manufacture has been in the Capon family for almost 50 years. Alastair Capon has owned and managed joinery and construction businesses for over 20 years and formed A & K Joiners in 2006. The Company has established a reputation as a professionally run business offering an efficient, personal service in the Design, Manufacture, Finishing and Installation of traditional bespoke joinery in Essex, meeting the needs of both the diverse building trade and the general public.
Our team of joiners have a vast experience in all aspects of bespoke joinery which means that we can supply your whole project enabling you to keep everything 'under one roof.' We can supply glazing and where specialist materials are required such as coloured glass worktops and splashbacks, granite worktops, or specific wood-turned items for staircases etc., local suppliers are used that offer competitive terms and with whom we have a long-term working relationship.
Alastair will probably be you first port of call within the company. He can assist you from the initial planning and design stage of your project and if you need any technical advice about any aspect of your design, types and suitability of wood, or simply want help interpreting your dreams in wood then Alastair is the person to speak to. He will visit to obtain your full requirements in order to provide a quotation. Upon acceptance of your order we will schedule the work within the workshop programme and will source the materials for your project. When the project goes into manufacture, Alastair will oversee the production in our workshop by our experienced team of joiners. Alastair will then arrange installation if this is required and will also deal will any after sale queries.
