We are able to offer a wide selection of window types to suit personal requirements, in softwood or hardwood.
We are a manufacturer of Traditional Sliding Sash Windows in Essex. Windows can be manufactured with either full section or applied glazing bars. These windows are suitable for fitting where an authentic window is required. The windows are fitted with pulleys, cords and weights which operate within a box frame. Traditionally sliding windows have been subject to draughts, therefore we recommend the fitting of brush seals, which as well as reducing heat loss have the added benefit of providing a smoother slide for the sashes. We fit staff beads and parting beads which have an inbuilt brush seal. In addition this seal is introduced into the meeting rails of the sashes. It is possible for a small additional cost to increase the provision to a double seal, by installing the brush all around each sash where it abuts the frame, together with a second seal on the meeting rails.
